Prestige Loan

Borrowing from Prestige Properties is a bit different from what it used to be years ago. That's because the increases in property values have far exceeded what the lenders have been able to offer. So, the lenders have not increased their normal loan amounts to where they need to be to help people that are purchasing properties that are one million, two million, three million, four million, sometimes five million dollars.

What's exciting about first homeowner properties at the moment: I bet you can actually purchase one without a deposit, which has been a major hurdle for purchasing a first home in the past. This is due to the $21,000 first home owners grant that's just been approved by the federal government when it comes to purchasing a new property.

Avoiding the Financial Brick Wall

There's a couple of things that I'd like to share with you today that all property investors should keep in mind. And it all centers around what I call the financial brick wall. What that is is, when people grow their portfolios to a certain size, they tend to come up to a stage where the bank won't lend them any more money due to the income servicing requirements of the bank. What we like to do is help to structure our clients to get around that financial brick wall. So, there's a couple of points that we always look at and think are very important for property investors when they're getting loans.
